What is TrunkDrive and how do I use it?

Now, in addition to using the Elephant Desktop application to manage your digital assets, you can upload, download, and browse directly through your Windows Explorer/Mac OS X Finders using Elephant TrunkDrive.

TrunkDrive allows you to mount the remote ElephantDrive data storage server as a local file system, just like a disk drive. You can copy files to TrunkDrive using Windows Explorer / MacOS Finder). When you copy a file to TrunkDrive it is encrypted and uploaded in the background to the ElephantDrive servers. Similarly, you can use Windows Explorer / MacOS Finder to download or directly access files on TrunkDrive.

  • Windows: 2000, 2003, XP and Vista
