Does ElephantDrive support open/locked file backup?
Yes. ElephantDesktop software has among other things the feature to upload/backup any open, locked or in-use file, ensuring that your business will run without interruption twenty four hours day, seven days a week.
This feature is available for our Pro and Pro Plus Edition user
To use this feature on Windows Vista, you'll have to run ElephantDesktop as Administrator (by right clicking on the ElephantDesktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator").
To use this feature on Windows XP, you have to make sure that the "Volume Shadow Copy" service is enabled.
