Yes, absolutely. ElephantDrive does not do auto synchronization between your local drive and your TrunkDrive. So, if you delete a file from your hard drive it will not be deleted from your Trunk (ElephantDrive Account).
ElephantDrive keeps all files, as some users use the service to save space on their hardrive. The only way the file would be deleted from the Trunk is if you manually deleted it from ElephantDrive Account.
